- Produce highly optimised meshes that can be rendered and displayed efficiently for downstream departments such as Rigging, Layout and Lighting.
- Maintain good communication with the Model Lead.
- To interpret and follow reference material to create clean, highly detailed and accurate models.

Technical Artist (Unreal Engine) is responsible to serve as the bridge between art, animation, and production by creating tools, optimizing, troubleshooting, and other technical production issues that arise.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and test prototypes, graphics and content creation methods suitable for Tv-Animated Series and/or Animated Feature Film.
- Developing content guidelines and workflows to ensure the best practice (Procedural Creation).
- Reducing complexity of scenes.
- Analysing content using profiling tools and/or spreadsheets to find ways to optimize memory/performance.
- Manage and generate assets in Unreal Engine including bringing assets in from Maya/3Ds Max, Lighting and Shading Assets.
- Work with other Technical Artists to make all conversions assets from software to Unreal Engine functional and efficient.
- Understand and follow production guidelines as well as solving design and/or effects challenges.
Requirements:
- 3 years experience working within a production team within Tv-Animation Series and/or Animated Film.
- Strong understanding of CG based workflows and their dependencies.
- A solid understanding of trigonometry and vector math.
- A foundation in at least one “traditional” category such as level design, environment art, animation, or coding.

The CG Supervisor oversees every aspect of production and utilizes their expertise in both technical and artistic aspects while working in collaboration with various department leads (locally and remotely) to achieve creative and production requirements.

- Responsible for the overall creative quality delivered by the production team.
- Set clear objectives for the production team, monitor the process, progress and results of different departments.
- Determine, modify and maintain the most effective and efficient technical approach and pipeline to meet the creative direction.
- Resolve cross department issues and make decisions on creative and production deliverables, meeting the requirements of the project and direction of the Director, Producer or Client.
- Working closely with Rigging and Pipeline departments to provide suggestions and feedback to improve character setup, visual quality, rigs, and tool functionality.
- Identify, design and develop new tools and scripts to aid production’s efficiency and increase productivity.
- Organise daily / weekly production meetings and participate in meetings with clients when required.
- Work with the Director to technically execute the project in the most efficient method and deliver the creative vision of the show.
- Work with the Producer and Coordinator to maintain and schedule show delivery.
- Work with TDs and IT to troubleshoot technical issues related to production and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Motivate, mentor and lead the production staff, and build a positive and strong team culture.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years working experience in an animation studio with 3 years’ in managing a production team.
- Have thorough understanding of various technical and creative aspects of production in CG animation.
- Complete understanding of all areas of 3D modelling, rigging, texturing, look development, camera positioning, animation, lighting, rendering, compositing.
- Knowledge in game engines is a plus.
- Proven team leadership, strong motivational skills and willingness to share knowledge.
- Must have positive morale in generating styles and a strong sense of team dynamics.
